PSAC Local 40004 - University of Saskatchewan
The local was first established in 2015 when Graduate Student Workers organized around hours of work, better wages and benefits. This resulted in significant changes to working conditions for these members. Since then, the Postdoctoral Fellows (2019) and the Research Associates (2021) have joined the ranks of PSAC members at the University of Saskatchewan. The members of this local have been at the forefront of a number of victories for the broader academic sector through the collective bargaining process.
